FUNDING

Since its inception Lereko has established and maintains excellent relationships with a number of leading financial institutions in South Africa. Lereko considers funding sources on a deal by deal basis seeking attractive terms through strong relationships. Lereko also has strong relationships with all the development financing institutions.

The Lereko Metier Fund, established in 2006 provides a further source of funding. The Fund seeks to make equity and equity-related investments of R50 million to R500 million each. These investments are generally privately negotiated in both listed and unlisted securities.
