Lereko’s empowerment model anchors on participation by investment specific broad based regional and community partners and women. Lereko believes that this model captures the benefits of an entrepreneurial business culture whilst ensuring broad based entities benefit from empowerment initiatives in South Africa.

Lereko brings suitably identified and constituted broad-based entities in consultation with management and shareholders to ensure their participation alongside Lereko on each investment.

It is however important to emphasise that the proposed consortium structure is based on Lereko’s business and BEE philosophy and is guided by the following principles:
