 | Valli Moosa holds a BSc (Mathematics). He served as Minister of Constitutional Development from 1994 to 1999 and as Minister of Environmental Affairs and Tourism from 1999 to 2004. He has also served on various boards and commissions including serving as the Chairperson of the United Nations Commission on Sustainable Development from 2002 to 2003. He served as President of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature from 2004 to 2008. Valli is the principal of the Lereko Metier Capital Growth Fund. He is a non-executive director of a number of boards including Sanlam, Imperial Holdings, Anglo Platinum and WWF (SA). He is the chairman of Sun International. Valli is internationally recognised for his expertise in sustainable development and environment. |
